Celebrating 70 years of Elmdon!

So that the original Elmdon terminal played its full part in the

Airport's 70th anniversary celebrations the Airport and Signature

Flight Support organised a "fly in" of 19 "vintage" aircraft all of

which are illustrated below

have its photo taken next to the Emirates A380 - a Rapide having

operated the first service from Elmdon (top) back in 1939!

mid morning service from Amsterdam....
