RAF Nimrod MR2 XV250 made an ILS approach and go around to
Runway 15 as part of a series of flights to mark its retirement....

originated at RAF Kinloss and routed via Newcastle to BHX....

.... after flying down Runway 15 it continued onto Liverpool

The reason for the visit to BHX was that the flight deck crew all

came from Birmingham or Solihull! - they are seen above with

the whole Nimrod crew back at RAF Kinloss
